Marathon Düsseldorf: 24.Apr.2016
The Marathon Düsseldorf on 24 April 2016 is always a true sightseeing run. The total length is 42.195 km. The runners may take in the world-famous Königsallee, passing the modern Medien Hafen with buildings by internationally renowned star architect as Frank O. Gehry. They finish leads directly to the Old Town and celebrate their success with a cool “Alt” beer.

Schumann Festival Düsseldorf: 20.May.2016 to 08.Jun.2016
2016 is for Düsseldorf is a year of Robert Schumann. To celebrate his 200th birthday of this worldly famous classical musician, Düsseldorf organizes various musical programs from end of May to beginning of June for three weeks. Fans of Robert Schumann get the opportunities to listen to the professional Orchestra, theater and singing offered by different artists.

Biggest fun fair on Rhein: 15.Jul.2016 to 24.Jul.2016
Dating back 700 years, Düsseldorf fun fair is originated from Düsseldorf’s St. Sebastianus shooting club with more than 1,500 members. With the biggest fun fair on the Rhine, the club celebrates with the “Historic Procession” on 19 July, a procession from more than 3,000 uniformed shooters, marching bands, teams of horses and carriages wind their way through the streets. It is the biggest parade in Germany.
The fun fair takes place in these meadows with space of 165,000 sqm. It will provide space for stallholders from both Germany and abroad, and a wide range of rides, guaranteeing fun for all the families. On 22.July there will be a fireworks display.
